In an increasingly tough economic everyday life, more and more tasks are entrusted to the organization’s employees that were previously procured from consultants. At the same time, the knowledge requirements in above all IT, digitization and cyber security are growing at an increasingly rapid pace. But help is still available; we support you in your everyday IT at a reasonable price.

Traditionally, an organization has its own small IT department, often consisting of a single person, who manages the day-to-day IT operations. And for larger projects, external consultants are hired who basically take care of the entire project until it is delivered.

In above all smaller organisations, this is almost the only possible way to develop IT operations. The disadvantage is unlocking against consultants because the knowledge is with the consultant, not in-house. And it will be expensive, especially in today’s tight economic situation.

Of course, we work in the traditional way. But also for many years now has a steadily growing clientele who have chosen to let their staff’s IT knowledge grow as their IT business has developed and hire us as support instead of implementers.

In practice, this means that we are there as an expert resource in all types of IT and digitization issues, large and small, for all employees in the organization.

A large proportion of the assignments involve expert support in technology selection, in procurement, in contacts with external IT suppliers, in digitization, in cyber security issues and in management groups and/or boards. We also organize tailored internal training if needed.

A very large percentage of the assignments are about getting a receipt for “have I thought/done right now?” before moving on. Most of the assignments are handled via e-mail or via digital meetings, which saves time and money for everyone.

We jokingly call this service “Ask Erik!”

The service is established by drawing up a framework agreement free of charge between us and you as a customer. The framework agreement briefly states that the customer’s employees (all or specified) can turn to us for help with IT issues (all or specified) for a fixed agreed hourly price (minimum charge is 1/2 hour per assignment) with monthly invoice.

There is no requirement for a minimum number of hours per month, we have framework agreement customers with assignments only a few times a year. The framework agreement also includes a mutual NDA (non-disclosure agreement).

This arrangement is very cost-effective and is the perfect solution at the moment when the economy forces the staff to take care of the IT operations themselves without expensive consulting help.
